Fathom Co joins the St. Kitts team
We are thrilled to announce that the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, the official destination marketing organization for the island of St. Kitts, has selected Fathom Co as its Canadian public relations agency of record.
“We are extremely optimistic about the Canadian market, even as we recognize the unique challenges the pandemic presents for tourism globally,” said The Honourable Lindsay F.P. Grant, Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports for St. Kitts. “The addition of Fathom Communications is significant for us, because we have never had a Public Relations Agency in Canada before and demonstrates our increased commitment to the Canadian source market and rebuilding stayover visitation. We look forward to increasing our visibility in the Canadian market and sharing with them the unique story of St. Kitts, a quintessential Caribbean getaway that provides unparalleled offerings and unforgettable vacation memories.”
The scope of work will include trade and consumer media relations, content strategy, press trips, events and activations, social media strategy and the cultivation of co-marketing opportunities.
“We are delighted to welcome Fathom Communications to the St. Kitts Tourism Authority team and look forward to an exciting year in building further awareness and establishing deeper connections for St. Kitts here in Canada,” said Racquel Brown, Chief Executive Officer at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “Our five-year growth plan to grow visitation from Canada has reaped considerable dividends, reflected in the increased Air Canada service we brought to the island. While the pandemic had us all step back last year, we are now looking forward to tapping back into that growing interest and Fathom Communications has the creative capabilities and experience to help us build momentum across all our niche markets.”
About St. Kitts & Nevis
The captivating twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis offers visitors an uncrowded, quintessential Caribbean getaway with a distinct array of activities, astonishing natural beauty and warm, welcoming hospitality. One-of-a-kind attractions in St. Kitts include the UNESCO recognized Brimstone Hill Fortress Park and The Sugar Train, the Caribbean’s only scenic passenger railway; while sister island Nevis beckons with its unspoilt coastline, botanic gardens and historical significance as the birthplace of America’s founding father, Alexander Hamilton. Become immersed in nature with a hike up the rainforested Mt. Liamuiga in St. Kitts or Nevis Peak in Nevis, then take to the water for kayaking, speedboating or a scenic catamaran sail along the coast.
